Small Works
Ellen Worthy Stokes has launched a new small works series entitled "Intimate Views." Art works will range up to 12 X 12 inches in size and format. The concept began with a daily sketchbook created on a trip through Italy in 2003. In 2007, Ellen created a small works series for Interior Designer Kelly Banez of Impressions of Fredericksburg.
CFRRR Partnership
Ellen is developing a small works series for the Community Foundation of the Rappahannock River Region (CFRRR, www.cfrrr.org). Ellen has recently joined with the Foundation in creating art that reflects the organization’s mission. The Foundation was established in 1997 by a small group of civic minded individuals that saw a need for citizens in our area at all financial levels to have a vehicle by which to contribute to their community. Ellen is contributing to the community through CFRRR with her art. Ellen is excited about the opportunity to help increase public awareness of and participation in the Foundation throughout the Rappahannock region. Her small works will consist of local images. Also, commissioned portraits of those on whose behalf contributions have been made will also be offered through the Foundation. All sales will benefit the Foundation.
